I qualified from University with 2 degrees - in Arts and Law, and worked over 14 years as a lawyer for the NZ Government in Wellington, mainly in the medico-legal and environmental fields. In addition I taught business law at Polytech for the NZ Society of Accountants qualification, for 3 semesters. Full details are at LINKEDIN.

Through all of this, I pursued my REAL lifetime passion - drawing, painting, exhibiting and selling art, fed by regular weekend forays into the New Zealand high country, from the Central North Island Plateau with its great volcanoes, through the "Lord of The Rings" forests in the Tararuas, to the mountains of the South Island West Coast.

In 1996 I came on the net.  For 2 years  I developed an offline graphics, internet and desktop publishing business in Kerikeri, until my mother's illness forced me to work from home. Then the Internet became my lifeline, as I worked for clients worldwide in my spare time from being a fulltime carer. I now freelance on the Internet from my home in the Far North of NZ in illustration, graphics, and art, and writing articles and website content.

My artworks are held in collections in NZ, the UK, several States in the USA, Australia, Canada and France. The Portfolio of Prints of Game Mammals in NZ, a  limited edition of 500 copies, sold out some years ago.
